The Egyptian museum is the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities any where in the world. It features artifacts From the Pharoanic and Greco-Roman Periods, including the mummies of ancient Egypt's Kings and Tut Ankh Amun Treasures.

The Great Pyramid has been erected around 2600 BC during the reign of Khufu (Cheops). Next to The Great Pyramid stand 2 additional large pyramids. The slightly smaller one is attributed to Cheop's son and successor, Kephren. The other, still smaller, is attributed to Kephren’s successor, the grandson of Cheops, Mycerionos.
Sphinx
 The Great Sphinx is a colossal stone statue located next to the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Carved out of limestone, the Sphinx has the facial features of a man and the body of a recumbent lion; it is approximately 240 feet (73 m) long and 66 feet (20 m) high The Sphinx is thought to be primarily a guardian figure, protecting the tomb of the Khafre by warding off evil spirits.
