Giant statue of Ramses II was discovered by the Archaeologists in Cairo
This thursday was revealed by the Egyptian and German archaeologists that they have discovered in Cairo a statue eight meters high and three thousand years old that will represent Pharaoh Ramses II, one of Egypt's most powerful and known leaders.
The quartzite statue was founded buried in the eastern part of the modern city of Cairo, in the ancient temple of Heliopolis, in a poor area near the temple of Ramses II.
