انطلقت في سماء الأقصر صباح اليوم الأحد 6 رحلات بالون طائر، حيث كان عزت سعد محافظ مدينة الأقصر من أول ركاب رحلات البالون التي عادت تحلق مجددا بعد توقف قارب الشهرين.

وقال محافظ الأقصر، قبيل إقلاعه في أول رحلة بالون اليوم الأحد: إنه سعيد بعودة الروح لقطاع البالون الطائر في الأقصر لما يمثله هذا القطاع من أهمية سياحية كونه نمطا سياحيا تنفرد به الأقصر عن غيرها من مناطق مصر السياحية.

وعبر سعد عن ثقته في كفاءة القائمين بالعمل في هذا القطاع وثقته في قطاع الطيران المصري الذي يتولى الإشراف على تلك الرحلات، مؤكدا أنه تم اتخاذ كل الإجراءات اللازمة بما يحقق أفضل درجات الوقاية والأمان لتلك الرحلات التي تجتذب قطاعا كبيرا من السياح بحسب قوله.

وشارك في أولى رحلات البالون سياح من إنجلترا وأستراليا، وسياح من دول عربية ومصريين مؤكدين عدم خشيتهم من ركوب البالون الطائر.
